Nico Strydom (Guitar and Bass)
Nico’s passion for music started in 1995 when he picked up a guitar and just started playing. Since then he has played in many bands including the local competition Rockspider in the featured band 'Anoniem'. His influences include John Mayer, BB King, Eric Clapton, Slash, Andy McKee and Igor Presnyakov. In 2009 Nico formed part of the GC-Project band that visited numerous schools in Johannesburg to lead praise and worship sessions, and he has been a resident guitarist at a number of Johannesburg churches since 2001.
Barrie van Zyl (Drums and Percussion)
Barrie's love for the drums started back in 1991 at the age of 14 when he was introduced to the instrument by a friend. In 2004 Barrie got together with three other musicians to form the Afrikaans rock band 'Orkez'. Their music videos made the MK top 10 at 10 and Barrie performed (with Orkez) at some of South Africa's biggest festivals including Aardklop and Innibos. Barrie mainly works as a session musician and have played on stage with numerous bands ranging from Jazz and Ballads, to Indi Electro and Rock. Barrie is currently busy with Grade 5 drumming and also teaches drumming to level 3.
